This law has some similarities—as well as important differences—from the coronavirus aid, relief, and economic security act (cares act). However, when the 2021 tax season opens, many young adults could qualify for a combined $1,800 ($1,200 from the cares act and $600 from the second. The following public information is provided in compliance with section 18004(e) of the cares act:
In order to comply with the crrsaa act, illinois college must use $619,656 in “student aid portion” funds to provide.
