No ceramides, no cholesterol, no phosphosphingosine, no niacinamide (edit: Though they claim their products are not tested on animals, cerave and its owning brand l’oreal sells their products in china as imported cosmetics. It is what it is, and it is hypocritical to promote a company as cruelty free when the company owns them is clearly not cruelty free. Cerave is the cream of the crop when it comes to skincare.
