I have windows 10 home ver 10.0.16299, and would like to change the icon font size and color, but can't seem to find an easy way to do this. Then, choose a light background, e.g., orange and the font will turn from white to black. Now change the background back to picture, and you should have a black icon font color.
After my latest windows 10 update, i unfortunately have white desktop icon fonts.
In background, select a picture or solid color, or create a slideshow of pictures. You can easily change the background, color, and themes from personalization settings. System tray icons are embedded in.dll files in the system folder. With time going on, the default appearance of windows 10 becomes boring.
