James franco‘s the disaster artist tells the story of the making of the room, one of the most revered cult “comedies” of all time. 5 of 5 stars back in july, i had discovered, upon its newly released film trailer, the upcoming film, disaster artist, and once again found myself obsessed with the room, a film that still defies all… I will give one caveat about my 9 rating:

When greg sestero, an aspiring film actor, meets the weird and mysterious tommy wiseau in an acting class, they form a unique friendship and travel to hollywood to make their dreams come true. Me neither, but i have been on a few where the director wasn’t the best. I mean that it is actually a really amazing character study of one tommy wiseau, the wealthy, earnest and completely bizarre auteur behind what has been called the citizen kane of bad movies.
