How Long To Learn Piano Grade 8. From grade 1 at about age 8 or 9, up to grade 8 at age 17 or so. In the next lesson, we will spend a few minutes on it.
At this grade twenty minutes of study at a time is enough for many people. = hours and hours, until i can play the piece by heart, thats the the point you know you have the piece secure to play whenever. Please have a read through the mock exam to see what level your child is currently playing at and what grade they can expect on the day.
Loved it, sometimes it was hard, of course, but you need to enjoy it.
I'm passionate about music, especially piano & keyboard music. You need 100 marks to achieve pass, 120 marks to pass with merit and 130 marks to pass with distinction. I can certainly play through most anything after one week, but to really master a piece can take anywhere from 1 to 6 months, depending on so many variables. Since performing music is very much a physical skill as well as a mental one, adult beginners may well make slower progress initially.
