Lion sands is recognized as one of africa's best safari brands. Covid 19 has been a nightmare, but one big silver lining was the ability to go to lion sands for a long weekend. The lion sands management operates two lodges in sabi sands, the upscale river lodge and its twin property, ultraluxe ivory lodge (which recently reopened after an extensive renovation). The activities offers at the lion sands private game reserve are all catered for in a beautiful environment and include open land rover game drives, interpretive bush walks, bird watching walks, lion tracking walks, river fishing (including tiger fish), gymnasium and health spa, and wine tasting.
