Nerada tea is the largest supplier of fairtrade and organic certified herbal. Meet plantation director, tony poyner and his son matthew, who work together at the tea estate in far north queensland. Nerada tea’s visitors’ centre (located on the plantation) is open to the public seven days a week.

The soil there might be good, but in the end there are rather flat tea fields on which the plants grow on.

Their plantation was at bingil bay near mission beach. The plantation was destroyed by an enormous cyclone in 1918.
