There were 26 pugs all together, 4 of them had to be put down because of their medical condition. The cherokee county animal shelter and cherokee county marshal’s office raided the puppy mill that kept over 500 dogs in terrible conditions. Our dogs are placed in volunteer foster homes where they decompress, learn social skills and have their veterinary needs cared for before eventually being adopted into loving families.
We want to end that cycle.
