Remove Background From Image Powerpoint 2007. If you don't see remove background or the picture format tab, make sure that you've selected a picture. Select the background image you wish to delete, right click on it to delete it.
You may need to repeat this a few times per slide because the background may contain more than one object/image. Usually you will see that artistic effects is greyed out too! You can still use that approach in powerpoint 2010 (select image > format > color > set transparent color).
Remove background in powerpoint 2010/2013/2016 versions:
If you use powerpoint 2010 version, you can use the option called ‘remove background’ to isolate the image. Click on the image that has background you want to remove. In a past blog post, i explained how to do this in powerpoint 2007. They won’t change the original.
