Svg File Opening Program. Those files are okay, they are just opening in the wrong program. Svg files are suitable for that because the xml base allows svg files to be searched, indexed, compressed, and scripted.
Please note that svg files may be displayed as html files (google chrome, explorer etc.), don’t let this throw you off. The svg file will still have the internet explorer logo. So here are svg file indexers.

To enable the ability to view svg thumbnails in windows 10 file explorer, there is an extension you can install called the svg explorer extension. Open a folder where you have svg files using the windows file explorer. For those with a lot of svgs, this makes it way easier to browse and preview their svg files in windows. This worked for the studio files but my mac still wants to open svg with safari even if i change the default to the silhouette studio program.
