Soy Free Tofu Whole Foods. A new brand of tofu just launched at whole foods — and it’s made from chickpeas. The diets follows two simple guiding principles:

Jigisha patel founded the company in 2019 after going vegan. Rice paper (tapioca, rice flour, water, salt), tofu (water, soybeans, calcium sulfate), avocado, carrot, cucumber, peanut sauce (chinese dressing [blended vinegar (distilled vinegar, rice vinegar, salt), sugar, premium soy sauce (water, soybeans, salt, wheat flour), sesame oil, onion, ginger], sweet chili sauce [water, red chili, turnip, carrot, sugar, salt, garlic, acetic acid], peanut. Although i enjoyed the nutty taste, hemp tofu is much crumblier than soy tofu.

She had previously been a vegetarian for 25 years.
